  • COMMENTS:
According to Austin Jordan's visa card issuing bank, we shipped an order to his "verified billing address" above. We also verified this address was Austin Jordan's by other means as well, however, a chargeback was filed against the transaction. USPS.com tracking shows that "A. Jordan" signed for the package. We called the phone number listed above (also verified to be in Austin Jordan's name). A man answered, but stated he did not place the order. He also stated that he was not Austin Jordan. We are currently trying to fight the chargeback. I would think twice before shipping an order to this address, or the same might happen to you.

PROTECT YOUR BUSINESS
Internet fraud is at an all time high. There were more reports of internet shopping website fraud loss, due to consumers placing orders with someone else's credit card, last year than ever before!

Last year internet businesses suffered a total of $190 billion in fraud loss. The days of approving an order if your merchant bank AVS address response states that the delivery address matches the billing address are over! Identity thieves are becoming increasingly successful at even changing the billing address of credit card accounts. When trying to recover the lost merchandise that was shipped, many internet dealers are simply forced to suffer the loss, because of the lack of response, or limited resources of law enforcement authorities. PatronCheck members report losses due to fraud immediately after receiving the chargeback notification from their merchant bank. Screen your internet orders for possible fraud before processing them, by searching PatronCheck's massive database of shared information concerning name and address combinations, addresses only, and/or phone numbers, and/or email addresses.

In addition, we encourage you to register to gain the ability to post as well. It could protect your own business in the future from shipping orders to those who have stolen your merchandise, but other businesses as well!
